Connor McDavid has come alive. 5 goals, 5 assists in 10 games. On pace for 82 pts.

Watched the documentary Red Army on Netflix, it's a real fascinating look at the past Russian hockey system with legends like Fetisov, Tretiak, Larionov, ect. They were so dominant back in the day, came over to America and beat the shit out of every NHL team they played, including a complete domination of the defending Stanley Cup champion Edmonton Oilers, with Gretzky.

Buffalo are on the rise, they've been fucked with injuries now that Kane and Lehner are out, but Jack Eichel looks like he's going to be a superstar in the future. Just turned 19 today, going to be putting up big numbers for a lot of years in Buffalo.

disagree. MTL has been in the lower half of the league for scoring for the last 5 - 7 years. without price they are not a playoff team. they were 24th last year in scoring but lead the league in goals against. the math is simple.

edited: like shit, Columbus scored 20 more goals than they did last year. but let in 75 more.

Montreal have been firing on all cylinders lately but that's going to fizzle out. They've got a strong team though, Pacioretty is one of the elite scorers in the game, Price is the best goalie in the league, and PK is the 2nd best defenceman behind Karlsson IMO.

I agree though that Price has carried the team farther than they'd go with an average goalie, much like Roy did back in the day.

You sound like most of Vancouver talking about Luongo when he signed. This is the season I stop rooting for Canucks simply because its the home team and start watching more hockey again. Will be selecting my new team asap, gonna be LA or SJ.
