Dana White doesn't really get along well with MMA managers. This is pretty well known. But ever since Holly Holm even began negotiating to come into the UFC, White seems to have had a special kind of hatred for her manager Lenny Fresquez. When Fresquez went public with their initial offer in 2014, White said that their meeting went badly and that he had no interest in Holm whatsoever after that.

Obviously, things changed and she signed. Not only that, she went onto win the UFC women's bantamweight title by knocking out Ronda Rousey. But following Holm's loss to Miesha Tate at UFC 196, White lashed out again at Fresquez in an ESPN Radio interview (via TMZ):

"He's an old boxing guy who thinks he's smart, and he's not."

"I don't know if Holly really knows what she lost. I think she has so much faith in the people that surround her, she feels like, 'Well, they got me this far.'"

The idea behind that statement is that apparently White believes Fresquez forced Holly to take the Tate fight instead of waiting for the rematch with Rousey, which the UFC wanted. As expected, Fresquez responded:

"I didn't make Holly fight Miesha. Holly is the boss. I work for her. We gave her the different options. Fight Miesha in March. Wait for Ronda in November or December. She said, 'I don't want to wait. I want to fight.'"

"Dana hates my guts. It's personal. How could it be my fault? Holly is the boss."

Dana is such a cunt. When he's dead he should be reincarnated into a high school girl in perpetuity.

Of course he hates him. The dude's a manager who actually prioritizes his client's interests instead of Dana's.

This is so over the top on Zuffa's part. They seriously wanted Holm to wait indefinitely for a rematch? As if the fight couldn't fall apart between now and then, leaving Holm with a bunch of wasted time and no money for her compliance?

And what happened to praising fighters for not sitting out, AKA Cowboy Props? What happened to rewarding fighters for the "anywhere anytime" attitude?

Etc.

LOL at "November or December." More like "or January, or February, or March...or, you know. When she gets done and feels like a camp. Yeah, could be years."

Exactly. Holly was supposed to put her career on hold for Ronda to come back? Fuck that.

If there was a big contract already written up, with some $$ up front and a solid fight date, that would be worth considering. But "just hang out until she comes back, shouldn't be more than a year" offer is LOL-level insulting.

"Our champions fight three times a year...unless we shelve them for indefinite periods."

Hardly nobody fights 3 times a year anymore because they've got too many fighters on the roster, or someone's injured, or the UFC is trying to politic match-ups, etc.

Unless a UFC year is 24 months! ...Yep, the math checks out.

Anybody ever had a boss trash-talk them to other people? It can make your blood boil. I can only imagine what a fighter must think when he reads the latest tweets about what a coward he is or how shitty his decisions are.

So Conor is the most fun fighter ever to work w bc he's down to fight anybody at any time.. but Holly doesn't want to wait a year to defend her title against a girl who might not even come back in the fall if she gets injured training or she scores another big gig in a movie or something.. and she gets shit on for taking a fight.. And let's not pretend that Holly really isn't only 1 win over a Nunes or Zingano away from fighting the winner of Rousey - Tate 3 (if Rousey wins she will basically be back in the same spot)..
