A Hong Kong construction worker has been forbidden from having any contact with dogs while he is out on bail awaiting trial for allegedly screwing a stray last week.
58-year-old Chung Lin-fai was detained by police at a Tung Chung bus station on Thursday. SCMP reports a witness claims that on February 1st, she spotted Chung using some food to lure a stray dog into a remote ravine in the area. Later, she noticed that the cream-colored female dog was injured. She brought the stray to a veterinarian who believed that the animal had been sexually assaulted by a person after finding human semen.

During a court hearing on Friday, the prosecution charged Chung with "buggery." Under Hong Kong's crime ordinance, bestiality is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a HK$50,000 fine.
The prosecution asked the West Kowloon Court to adjourn the case while it awaits DNA results. The case is scheduled to start back up on April 7th.
In the meantime, Chung was released on HK$2,500 bail on the conditions that he stay in Hong Kong, surrender his travel documents, refrain from contact with dogs and not come within 1km of Wong Lung Ravine where the offense is alleged to have taken place.
Upon being released, it didn't take Chung long to wind back up in custody. Leaving the courthouse with his parka draped over his head, he was followed by a dozen reporters and photographers. Suddenly, he wheeled around and punched one Apple Daily reporter in the face, sending him to the hospital.
Chung then began picking up rocks and sticks before being apprehended by police.
