Loses against Mavidal? He'd own him.

I think a fight with Robbie is 60/40 in favour of GSP. Ok, Robbie has had an amazing few years, but GSP would keep him guessing and make him pay.

I've always thought he'd beat any version of Maia.

Thompson isn't well rounded enough to beat him.

Woodley is the main threat.

GSP's knee surgeries will make him drastically slower on the feet. Good strikers he can't takedown will beat him.

GSP was hardly a sloppy striker himself.

Great jab, superman punch, combo's when needed... He was a beast on the feet.

It relied on his explosivity to cross the distance with his jab, superman punch, and his kicks also will suffer after three knee surgeries. We saw him get marked up by Hendricks before he left, and had absorbed more strikes in his last three fights than all his other fights combined. He was already on the decline, while everyone else was closing the gap, and that was three years ago and one to two knee surgeries later.

Masvidal would wreck GSP now. He didnt look good against Hendricks i think that has to do with him getting older. 3years on GSP is gonna be alot slower and drug testing is strickter now (not saying he is a cheat but you never know).

agree, in fact he was noticably slowing down during the later part of his reign.... but they say timing beats speed, and gsp has excellent timing. I think the current landscape gives him trouble that he didn't have before, so he'll have to be selective on who he faces. i personally think some top 5 give him trouble, but he beats tyron. i think tyron is faster, stronger, can match wrestling, but i don't think he can deal with gsp's variety of attacks and i think gsp confuses him and outsmarts him.

I think wonder boy would be a tough matchup for gsp though. just his length and striking combined with his newly found tdd, i think that presents trouble for gsp.

he throttles masvidal any way he pleases to though. and I'm a masvidal fan

Masvidal is way too inconstant to beat someone like GSP.
