I can honestly say I got them all with 100% confidence. The one that threw me off for a few minutes was the result of my mind fucking with me, and I am embarrassed to say that I didn't get The Rock right away. I kept looking at him and thinking it was a trick, that someone had painted in Russell Crowe as James J. Braddock in the Cinderella Man! My father was in that movie so it's never far from the forefront of my mind when I see, or think I see Russell Crowe, lol! Anyhow, I went back to it after getting all the rest and after a moment I slapped my forehead as it came to me.

That was fun though!

EDIT: Oh wow, just noticed some of the posts above mine, and that's cool to see some of the fellows who played along on twitter.

Since I bothered to mention it, and I like to drop a photo bomb in any Galanis thread that I can............he is a pic of my old boy out back of Maple Leaf Gardens between takes. His part was very small, he was considered a VIP Extra, which because of the VIP part entitled him to $500 a day, plus every time the script was revised he had a copy fed ex'd to his home in a really cool box (nice presentation). At the end of the movie production he received a call from a lady at the studio asking him to come down and pick up a gift which was left by Russell Crowe, who left 500 of these really nice crushed leather gym bags with some cool patches embroidered around it with relevance to the movie and James Braddock and the gym which he trained at. Inside the bag was loaded with swag such as a cool hoodie with some patches on it, an old school Toronto Maple Leafs shirt (because this was filmed in Toronto at the Gardens), a hat, a tank top and an authentic Australian Rugby jersey. Very cool, and I became even more of a fan of Russell Crowe after this.

I was given the gym bag, the hoodie and the tank top. Maybe I'll get some pics for ya, but here is the shot of my Dad dressed for his character which was a trainer of one of the fellas who died in the ring during a fight with Max Baer.

..........on the right, lol!

I am convinced that sgotwalks @sgotwalks family has lived the most epic life of any family in history.
Dude, I started cracking up as I got into that last post...........for one, it didn't belong in this thread because James J. Braddock isn't even in the picture, and his name only entered the conversation because I went full retard and couldn't recognize Rocky Marciano...........thought he was Russell Crowe, lol! Anyhow, the mind works in funny ways and before you know it you've totally side tracked a thread. For some reason Galanis threads or posts have somehow come around to some fucked up photo I have...........I assure you I've run out of cool photos to share, it's just been dumb so far.

Love that picture though. There are a few faces I would like to swap out for others, but it's minimal........maybe just Tarver. I'd rather see Barrera than Tarver, pulling from the same era. Anyways, it is a great picture and it would look great in a nice frame with some soft light.
