Prelim 4:

Nick Fury - @Alienator vs Conan - Simpleman @Simpleman

Obviously it is not Conan O'Brien, I just used that pic cos I thought it would be funny

Arena: A New York city town house under renovation

Combatants are unarmed but may arm themselves from their surroundings.

Win is by KO/death. Fleeing the battle is a DQ.

Voting closes Thursday.

If this is the Arnold Conan we are talking about its lights out very badly for Nick Fury.

Arnold Conan was biting people's faces, KOing camels, cutting people's heads off, as well as big ass snakes. Beating the shit out of 7 foot monsters and demons. Arnold as Conan was no joke with superior strength and agility. Nick Fury as Samuel Jackson would be demolished, but the ORIGINAL NON PC white Nick Fury was a beast in his own right and very resourceful and had been through many crazy battles. Still I give it to Arnold as Conan.

Nick has access to centuries of knowledge about fighting and warfare that Conan simply doesn't have. The intelligence and technological advances Nick, who is trained as a soldier, spy, guerrilla warrior would be a huge edge. Abandoned building? More like ambush city. That big behemoth trying to breach vertical coffin after vertical coffin(doorways) would offer ample opportunity for sneak attacks.

I think white Fury was a badass

Conan has power no doubt, but Fury has the speed and training

Fury by running / hiding until he can arm himself, while Conan chases him in Benny Hill fashion.

That's what I'm saying. He wouldn't run out of the house, but he surely would use the environment to his advantage rather than standing toe-to-toe with a giant dude. The on-going construction would provide plenty of weapons he could pick up until he was ready to engage on his own terms.
