we used to have an elm tree in the front yard of the house i spent my childhood in. at one time someone had wrapped a tow chain around it and left it there. the tree swallowed it up and there was about 3ft hanging out one side like the sword in the stone. this melted my brain as a 5 yr old...how tf is a iron chain growing out of a tree. it was something like this

Chains and nails are the bane of my existence. So many blades absolutely fuct due to the them. I have a shoe horn in juan of my oaks, though.

I seen old mondo roots wrap themselves around and dig up pipes. There was a cool one that gently went around a faucet which fed it water. That juan had me thinking for a minute. Did it not destroy it on purpose? Huge old live oak.
