I got fully vaccinated. Am I not supposed to have antibodies?

@Splinty ? ThatOneDude @ThatOneDude ? @conor mcgregor nut hugger ? SC MMA MD @SC MMA MD ?

I didn't know that they were testing donated blood for antibodies routinely. Was this for convalescent plasma banking or something else?

You may not have had a very good antibody response from your vaccine. Or you were injected with water lol. The latter is a common joke that nurses like Shinkicker @Shinkicker play so they can see you in the hospital and say, "got you good fucker".

Bummer dude
I thought the science was settled

At one point I know somebody who got paid a $100 bonus for "antibodies" when giving blood

I wouldn't worry about it, maybe let your immune system go au natural.

I had big time side effects after getting injection number two. What gives?
Yep that sucks, arguably not worth it and not good for ya...probably didn't get the "saline/water".
If you really want to know about some vaccine stuff, hit me in PM.
Not gonna post on the main site about it.

Find an official document on that particular antibody test for sensitivity and specificity And we can talk about the likelihood that the test result is accurate.

A first pass on my phone I didn't find something and I'm on the go so I can't keep looking for a minute.

It's also worth noting that future immunity may not rely on humoral B cell detected immunity. And as such you may still be protected despite a negative antibody test.
But of course we would expect a better immune protection if you had antibodies present.

I don't know why, but I am literally crying laughing at this post.
