Their depiction of Colossus was fucking retarded.

There is no reason for him to be sitting around eating cereal in his metal form, other than the people in charge being too cheap to hire a real actor.

They had him puke at the sight of blood/gore.....No. Just, no.

He was too old compared to the Colossus from the other movies. I get that it might not be the same universe or whatever, but I'm sure that guy would have played the part for cheap enough and lent a little continuity.

His arms are way too stubby. Just didn't look right.

No clue about the character in itself, but I thought his CGI sucked ass for a 2016 movie. Reminded me of the blue superguy from Watchmen. Which was fine then, not now.
And not that I am calling for a origin story or anything, but I would have liked to know what is special about Gina that she can kick the ass of such a thing. Maybe they mentioned it (and who she was), and I just didn't know.

If you have like awesome fire-farts then fine, you are some magical badass (literally), but if your power is just.. strength, then I don't know, it feels I need to know a little more to be able to gauge that and have a understanding of the fight and its stakes.

But yeah, those are minor things.

I wouldn't put too much thought into it. It's a Deadpool movie.

I feel like they mentioned something about her but I'm probably wrong. I checked out relatively early on this one.

They turned on her latent mutant power, which allowed her to fight other strong mutants

Firstly, they addressed in the movie that Colossus remained cg for money purposes. That brings up the next point.
Deadpool was made on a tiny budget for the quality of film it was. They called in favors for the CG. Although the movie broke records, I'm fairly certain it was the cheapest marvel film to date. (Yes it's a Sony property, I know... Unfortunately.)

Yup agree. Collosus didn't walk around in his metal for that was BS. In fact it would've been cooler to watch him change when needed. I hate when they do that in those movies

You're over thinking it. Deadpool was a great Marvel movie. I agree with your assessment of Colossus, but the movie as a whole was pretty damn good.

You've got me wrong. I thought the film was brilliant. I'm just trying to explain to people who were unaware that the movie had a tiny budget, why there were two X-Men (one of which was entirely cg)

I had an issue too- the dialogue was so "please think we're edgy/quirky and love us" it made me sick.

I watched it again for the second time last night lol.

The puking thing did bother me... but I guess if he can eat cereal in metal form,... he can puke in metal form... I suppose lol.
But yeah... Gina & teen chick.... woulda been nice to get a little background on them.

I thought the Honest Trailer put it best. A movie for 16 year olds that you need to be at least 17 to see.
Watched it yesterday and enjoyed it pretty thoroughly. "2 hour long episode of Family Guy" I thought was pretty accurate.
