Ian McCall's (13-5-1) 18-month layoff was supposed to end at UFC 201, but Justin Scoggins' weight cutting problems resulted in the bout's cancellation. "Uncle Creepy" has had as many fights fall through as he's had actual bouts inside the Octagon (6). If there's any consolation of McCall, it's the fact that the UFC gave him both his show purse and his win bonus

Nice. I think he's on a 16/16 contract so after he pays taxes and his coaches/agent/manager he should be able to buy a nice Honda Civic with that money...

still mad that ian didnt try to finish dj when he was dropping bombs from full mount. Could have went on to win the title. Okay he got his money, now get him a fight ASAP that's all i got to say. Id like to see him fight smolka tbh

Smolka is fighting little Pettis and Fight Night 96.

McCall is trying to get lined up with Reis. Possibly on 202.

Sure, UFC will pay him his pittance, but shafted DC out of half a million after Jones was booted from their fight.

This shouldn't be a pat on the back for the UFC. This should be a given. No other outcome makes sense.

Glad for Ian. Sad for the fact we have to celebrate what he rightly deserves

What did he win?

Show money ok, any other is bullshit, he had option to fight and win but did not.

There are fighters paid less who are worse off and still fight because have to.

It's not a joke. All of that is factual. He drives and Prius and lives with his dad. His mother actually moved back into the house not too long ago to help take care of Ian's daughter.
