Over here we have the chief rabbi telling every Jew in Britain not to vote for Labour because it’s leader is the biggest anti Semite since Hitler. It’s led the news for 24hours and headlined every single newspaper.

There are companies based and funded in Israel whose sole purpose is to smear anyone or anything that has the merest whisper of not being pro Israel.

Jeremy Corbyn isn’t anti Israel but he is pro Palestine. He just thinks that human beings shouldn’t be locked in giant internment camps, treat like dogs and not have their land stolen from them. Contentious stuff I know but it’s enough for the pro Israel machine to click into action. There was no suggestion he was an anti Semite before he became leader of the Labour Party. He is well known for being one of the most anti racist people on the planet.

No mainstream 'news' makes any sense as long as they keep pretending that this huge cornerstone of geo-politics and corruption doesn't exist. Any 'scandal' of 'colluding with foreign governments' is a joke as long as they keep pretending there isn't a clear bridge and huge conflict of interests between US and Israel.

Trump chatting with Ukraine, or a smalltime player like Oman etc is a fucking grain of sand next to the massive desert of collusion that's been going on between US and Israel for decades. But nobody dares to get upset about that. Just look the other way, pretend its not real, and try to make sense of the world amidst this gaping blindspot

So hypocritical considering that US politics is FULL of dual-citizen Israelis with tons of ties to Israeli intelligence etc. When will the media rightfully start calling THOSE traitors out and making scandals about it?

So far this story has only been picked up in right leaning press. One guy basically said this in a trial in Florida. It doesn't seem to make a lot of sense because Omar is a junior Congress member with no influential committee assignments or much clout besides in the popular imagination. Of all the popular Dems, she's most vulnerable to attack because plenty of people already hate her since she's foreign born, Black, a Muslim and has denounced Israel. The idea of Qatar needing a US "asset" is pretty silly because they already own a number of Congress members through donations and defense contracts. Also, throwing in the Turkey and Iran angle just makes this less plausible.

It's cool to see people taking this and running with it though. Everyone should treat all politicians with skepticism and suspicion when damning evidence surfaces.
