One group's taking a piss, the other is dead serious. I'm not truly impressed by a fighter until he beats the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

I'll give any fighter props that fights top level competition or even ones that don't talk about something they are not. What really grinds my gears is people that say this or that fighter is the GOAT, best ever could beat anyone blah blah blah when that fighter hasn't proven themselves to be a top fighter. I understand marketing and why promoters do what they do but fighters need to do it with respect. No fighter should ever not say they won't win a certain fight or can't beat someone in their division because they should have that confidence BUT they also can go about it with respect which is earned to some extent by beating a certain level of competition that is worthy or the fighters comments.

This is why a truly truly dislike Conor. This guy is not going to beat Aldo. He is not going to beat Edger. Cub would be a real good fight for him. I don't think he can beat Mendes with a full camp. Until he beats some of these guys let alone can win the title and not the one given to him because Dana wanted a 5 rd fight(I don't even want to get started on interim titles) he needs to tone it down because he isn't a top fighter in his division. Zuffa built this guy up and now even they are having troubles with him. His last fight there was issues with him refusing to do things that are asked of him including wearing the Reebok gear(I actually support him on this one lol). His ego will bring him down as Zuffa is starting to get tired of the issues. You can see his ego on TUF as he doesn't show up to train with the guys or offer the guidance and suggestions as he should. It's all about himself and fuck everyone else. Someone(s) helped him along the way he should should do the same. I don't mean hold a guys hand but sob be there to assist them through this. Some of these guys are overwhelmed and he could help them deal with this stuff. They'll make as much money off of him as they can but once he loses to Aldo keeping him protected will be a thing of the past and he'll have to fight a murderers row in that division. I honestly think he could go on a several fight losing streak once he loses to Aldo and yet he's demanding more money than any fighter ever has made? First prove yourself inside the cage

It's something he can change with time but damn it let's see what he can do before you start making him be something that he's not. He's a good fighter, he has the charisma and interview skills can be improved. Let's let him develop this stuff and get some fights under him first. You read some of the posts people are making and it's as if he should be given a title because no one is on his level.

By the time he gets to that point I don't see why he doesn't have a shot...Pettis comes from a tkd background and he did...hes only getting better so a year or two from now He could be elite..

Donald is legit. He's never been protected and has fought everyone he's been asked to some on very short notice. Conor is not big enough to go with him. Donald has reach as well. I know there's been talk of Conor moving up but until he fights the top guys at 45 why would he even think of moving up to a division where he'll be over powered and not have size/reach on other fighters?

IF . . . . Conor wants to be a legit top 5 fighter he needs to get with a good team where he can learn grappling and improve his stand up. He's not going to do it in his home country.

There is no point having a real discussion on Conor on this site. Look at the first post that compares Conor fans to bronys and real life doll lovers that is allowed to set the tone of the conversation. Just give the haters a few memes and laugh at them.
