We always wonder why people run when it seems like people always get caught but That's only because they can show us people who get caught. A ton of people evade police and succeed. Here you have two cops in this video who can't climb a fence.

That was like a 4 foot fence. If they can't fit their boot through the holes and rest their weight on it while they boost themselves up over it, then they're not getting over it. Time to take the gun out and start shooting.
Not every force has tasers or equips every officer with one. If they hadn't there's a very real chance they would start shooting and be justified to do so. People die because cops are out of shape.

If your argument is that people die when out of shape officers can't climb fences and other similar actions to catch the perp than why do they hire so many women who can not meet the physical requirements to do the job?
I remember coming off of the highways and a 2 foot Asian female officer, who walking on the highway with no flares, pylons or anything else on the off ramp screaming at me to slow down because I was going over the posted limit. So not only would she have been too small to do anything on her own but she also didn't know the law.
I think they have to hire a number of women. Women are better normally at negotating and talking people out of violence but at the end of the day I think they are hired to fill a fairness quota.

There are quotas for gender and race, that is a fact, but if you are concerned about people getting shot because police officers are not physically capable than you would agree that the physical testing standards should be the same for men and women?
Ya I'm not in support of hiring women or minorities to meet discrimination standards. That includes tiny men. I'm not for hiring tiny men either.

I never saw this to be true. As a matter of fact, one had a mouth on her, would start shit and expect the guys to finish it. They started assigning her to the bottoms and it would take forever for her back up to arrive (no one wanted to go on calls with her). It wasn't long until she was promoted to get her out of the field.
It may be different today but when I worked there the usual occurrence was if a man was worked up, the last thing he wanted was a woman telling him what to do. It would just piss him off more. Lol

When are you going to start displaying either of these skills?
In my experience the female officers tended to be on edge more and a bit too aggressive for my liking. I figured it was because they didn't have the physical stature to intimidate so they had the bigger bark. There are excellent female officers to be sure, I'm sure you were excellent as well, all I am saying is that the testing should be the same across the board.
I used to teach and run a program for the pursuit/restraint circuit as well as the shuttle run for the police testing and it really showed the huge difference between men and women physically. If women had to meet the same requirements for the job I don't think I would have had one successful completion.
But it is okay because studies have shown that perps will run slower and use less force to escape if the officer is a female.

We should also note that there are plenty of men who do the same thing as the lady you are mentioning and usually, no one likes them.
