Nick is 31 add the minimum suspension of 2 years and he is 33, thats too old to return.
I disagree when it comes to Nick Diaz due to his lifestyle. People who eat, exercise, and take their health as serious as him can live to be like 120 years old!

If guys like Randy and Hendo can fight well into their 40's, I think Nick easily could too. His chin may dwindle over time, but I don't think his cardio is going anywhere.

Now, somebody who's all roided up and parties all the time...that's a different story.

Exactly. I'm not a pro fighter, but my physical prime was between about 30-35 years old.....and only a slight drop off from then til about 38.

no, its the other way around, roids will give you a longer career.
try getting out of bed past 30 years natty as a pro fighter, forget it.
thats why Nick can't come back.

^^^ you have a point about the roids, but I think Nicks health freak lifestyle will allow him to compete far past 33, IF he wants to...which is looking doubtful. 😢

Nick's a different animal. I could see him fighting into his late 30's easily. Cardio machine, clean lifestyle (well, outside of the weed of course lol).

I don't think 33 is too old. I agree that his healthy lifestyle would make it easier for him too. He isn't a heavyweight who has had knocked out several times. As sickeye said, his chin may dwindle a little, but should hold up for a while. I think the biggest thing with him is motivation, or lack thereof.

Yep, there a tons of studies that show lifestyle play a big factor in how and when athletic performance diminishes. There are studies that show things like marriage and fatherhood reduce testosterone in males.....ain't that some shit?

I think its a smart plan in a sense. Nick is just waiting for big fights. By retiring after every big fight he waits until all the contenders have fought each other and they run out of contenders. Then Nick pops up back out of the shadows for the big fight. Its a good strategy.
