Apparently wildfires in the Columbia River Gorge are causing it- kinda looks like a very fine snowfall. Reminds me of the first third of Interstellar.
That's what it was like in my neighborhood in Brooklyn after 9/11. It was like a fine snow, and everything was covered.Apparently wildfires in the Columbia River Gorge are causing it- kinda looks like a very fine snowfall. Reminds me of the first third of Interstellar.
How did you get them to do it again?I got in a car accident back in the day, 2002 I think. I was stopped at a light and was rear ended. I had to get a new bumper and some other rear end pieces. We timed it right so that it would be in the shop getting painted while my wife and I were visiting Long Island.
The day we left the San Diego fires started. We were living in North county, just outside Camp Pendleton. We had no idea if our place would be there when we got back. It was and when we finally were able to go home, we went to get our car and it had rained ashes all over the brand new paint. It was horrible. It sat out side with wet paint while the ashes came down. The body shop had to do the entire thing over again because I wouldn't take it. They tried to make me take the car like that.
I wasn't going to pay them until they did it. Then they were gonna keep the car and bla bla bla. In the end they ended up doing it. I think I threatened to involve base legal but I'm not sure if it helped or not.How did you get them to do it again?
Dunno, traditionally the crush is in late Sept/early Oct, so... soon.Is it enough to negatively impact pinot noir production? A real tragedy if so.
