Jacare Souza wants Vitor Belfort to win so they can fight for title in Brazil

Although Jacare is a very firm believer of him getting the next title shot, many pundits are making case for Rockhold after he submitted Lyoto Machida in a masterful performance. But Jacare claims he has done more than Rockhold to secure his chance.

"I'm sure I'll be next. Luke has already lost in the UFC. I have five straight wins against tough guys. Lyoto had his chance and lost to Rockhold. When Rockhold fought me, he lost as well, but the judges fought for him. Surely I deserve it more than anyone else, I have a five-fight win streak, was the champion at another promotion without a doubt, I will be next. I didn't come here to lose. I'm here to win".

You make the next title shot Jacare or Luke, at this point Luke sells more tickets I really think. English speaking, good looking, both have great wins and highlight reels.

I think Jacare underestimates the UFC's refusal to help those that don't help themselves.

I think Jacare is trying to talk himself into the idea that he's going to get the next shot. That's highly unlikely, and I think this is his way of either trying to campaign for it, or deal with it.
