Fan-friendly 145-pound contenders Jeremy Stephens and Doo Ho Choi have been slated to clash on Jan. 14 at UFC St. Louis. The UFC announced the booking late Thursday night.

UFC St. Louis takes place Jan. 14 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

It feels like forever since we last saw Doo Ho Choi in there. Will be over a year when he steps back in there. He was meant to be fighting Andre Filli at UFC214, but suffered a shoulder injury.

To be honest, I prefer the Choi vs. Stephens match up better. A power striker vs A precision striker (who also has power).

I'm with Choi on this one, it's our best hope for an asian superstar.
