I love this fight. I think Rivera takes it, but it's also Almeida's chance to get some serious hype back.
The only problem is that these two should both be title contenders in the future. We will probably see a couple more fights in the Garbrandt-Dillashaw-Cruz circus first, but it would have been nice to bring these two up in parallel a little longer. Sterling will be out of the title picture for a little while now, so I would have preferred either of them against him or Jimmie against Assuncao first.

This is a fun fight. We do run the risk of what nuraknu said above, but I'm still excited to see the matchup. I'm leaning toward Rivera, but Almeida can turn the lights out at any moment.
