Touche, and I don't mean the tortoise. Hardy was elite for 2 years until he fell off for various reasons.
Hardy came in late and old, and he wasn't really 3rd Tier...he was a beast.
Good example...Hardy is the best so far...he is mentally weak and also has that asthma going on

Hershel Walker came in after 40 years old so that doesn't count

I maintain that the best HWs for boxing and MMA choose football as kids, and you have to commit or you won't climb the ladder...if they trained martial arts instead of football they would wreck shop...Ideally guys about 240 ish so they have a combo of speed and power.

Somebody with NFL athleticism that had trained wrestling early and maybe some striking also is what MMA is missing.

Brock was third tier.

That Gable dude who won the olympics is NFL caliber athlete but he is choosing Pro Wrestling.
MMA fans don't seem to realize that MMA is the porn of professional sports. You don't pick it, you end up there.

Eye gouges/rakes, etc, fish hooks, repeated nut shots, and all the other stuff that frequently occurs on every NFL play and then just hugging someone instead of fighting them at all.
Chandler and Arthur learned all that in the NFL and will fuck Jon up with it....... but Jon's 15 years of fight training (and more violent nature) doesn't give him any techniques or comfort in fighting outside of the unified ruleset?

Be careful. You might fall and hurt yourself jumping to those conclusions.

It's jumping to conclusions to suggest that a top-5 cagefighting ATG is better at fighting than his two brothers who aren't fighters?

And that him also being considered a dirty (professional) fighter - and taking pleasure in that reputation - is a better background for outside-the-unified-rules street fighting than playing in the NFL is? So this 240 pound, top-5 p4p cagefighting ATG, should be favoured in a fight over his exceptional athlete brothers? Oh but one of them wrestled in high school, 16 years ago!

Did you know, Leonardo DaVinci had a brother who was a better painter, but didn't bother to?
Same with Michael Jordan for basketball and Lady Gaga's sister is a better singer because she also sang in a choir during school. At least that's what I made up.

I strongly enjoy this concept, that 'the bigger stronger guy automatically wins, especially at fighting' - those silly guys at SEG with their ufc1... instead of the bobsled-guy it would really only have taken 1 okay NFL player. Oh what, Fighter pay? ...

I mean absolutely, Arthur and Chandler are enormous, athletic freak monsters who would effortlessly destroy pretty much every guy on the street. No problem there.

But their brother is a long-time cagefighting champion and combat sports legend who cuts weight to compete, still weighs in at over 200 pounds, and has never been dropped or even visibly wobbled in 10 years of UFC title fights.

Yeah...... advantage that guy.

Even with Chandler and Arthur's NFL-bestowed secret knowledge of fishhooks and nut shots (and we know that Jon would NEVER gouge eyes or try to blow out someone's knee or dislocate their shoulder. )

Toss up between any of them.
You know, you seem to spend a lot of time telling people "I didn't say that" even they puncture your bullshit.

Why not try just saying what you fucking mean, instead of playing stupid word games ALL the time?

Chandler and Arthur will fuck up just about anyone with ease, obviously.

But not a top-five cagefighting ATG. Playing in the NFL doesn't give you better grounding for a streetfight than spending 15 years at Jackson's does, I'm sorry. You think Greg Hardy beats Jon Jones? Nope, and Hardy is every bit as good an athlete as Chandler or Arthur, and with much more fight training and experience as well.

I said exactly what I meant. Someone said "Jon Jones would kill his brothers with his bare hands." I said that's laughable. Then people started doing analysis of why Jon would or wouldn't win a fight because heaven forbid they say "Yeah, I guess that is a bit much." or "I didn't mean it literally.".

It's "laughable" to suggest that Jon Jones would likely beat either of his brothers in an unarmed fight.

Beat and beat to death are not the same thing.
Stop playing stupid word games.

If Jon Jones can choke you out, then he can beat you to death.

If he can apply an armbar and break your forearm, then he can beat you to death.

He can put you in a situation where you are unable to stop him from ending your life if he chooses to.

Stop. CONSTANTLY. Playing. Stupid. Fucking. Word. Games. You. Annoying. Little. Troll.

It's also laughable that you would accuse anyone of being a troll.
