I would love to know what the delta is between how the UFC sees Jon’s value compared to where Jones and his team believe it to be. Is the UFC just not flexing to someone who they have been over-accommodating to over the years? Is Jon looking for Conor money? Dying to know the real deal.

I think Jon and his fans forget how many times Dana has had to clean up Jon's messes. Sit back and really think about it, his shenanigans have basically resulted in him fighting once a year, and after every other fight there's either some fall out from controversy, or some sort of extracurricular activity that the UFC is very clearly cleaning up.
Might be cleaning one up right now
We know USADA isn't on the level, or equally as likely another legal incident or court issue is in play
Jon may be on a forced hiatus

Yeah, imagine the revenue they missed out on with his fuckups keeping him out of action for so many extended periods.
