Jones hasn't had doubt in a fight since 'Rampage'

Jon Jones is as confident in his skillset as anyone. For good reason. He's the best pound-for-pound MMA fighter in the world and arguably the best of all time.

That doesn't mean, though, that he hasn't been worried going into a fight. Lately, he has been free of those fears. But Jones said at a recent media lunch that the last time an opponent truly concerned him was Quinton Jackson.

"The last time I had major doubt going into a fight, I would have to say it was when I fought 'Rampage' Jackson," Jones said. "I had a lot of nightmares leading up to that fight of things not going my way. And for some reason, he just ... he intimidated me. He really did. I don't know what it was."

I think you actually make a good point....hate to give credit when it's correct information/opinion concerning Jones and not positive .....But, I believe he has gotten past that attitude.....

Hes talking about fear leading into a bout, not about actual incidents that occurred when the fight happened.

Basically he sayong rampage scared him. And hes been confident leading into every bout since

Ok, I just listened to tait fletcher's podcast with jardine, Cerrone and Greg Jackson.

Jackson (not specific to Jones) explained how he gets fighters mentally prepared, so to speak.....there is very little chance Cormier has in this fight. Jones will have gone through death and back again before this fight.......if Cormier doesn't get a lucky punch in, this fight is going to Jones for sure.
