I didn't really care for his content but he has his place in MMA Journalism as his 06 arrival to sherdog was right at the peak of the TUF rise and PrideFC downfall, MMA was really picking up steam while he was with Sherdog.
Anyone know the cause?

fuck me. please not suicide. I was in touch with him when I wrote for sherdog. he welcomed me when I joined. I always wondered how he would make ends meet doing that forever. there was no money in it, no future. and he seemed all-in. legit gutted.
Definitely sad stuff.

I have heard/read numerous reports of excessive substance abuse, but haven't seen any confirmed causes yet. I'm not sure if it was an OD, organ failure, an hero, etc. .
