I love it, Black Sabbath posted it on their page, so they give it two thumbs up.

Apparently cum works wonders on the vocal cords.Rob sounds amazing for his age
Not for mick jagger thoughApparently cum works wonders on the vocal cords.
what was the movie? All jokes about Rob’s sexuality aside, Judas Priest is a great band and he’s got an awesome voice. My band covered “Desert Plains” 40+ years ago.
I also give him props for being told that his traditional stage entry on a Harley wasn’t permitted in a venue and he did it anyway. I think that was in Germany, but it was a long time ago and I might have that mixed up.
And the story of how he was initially canned after “coming out” and replaced by a guy from a tribute band made a pretty decent movie, too.
Rock Star (2001). Loosely based on (more like inspired by) Judas Priest’s interval after Rob left the band for a while. The movie implies he was canned because he came out, but in reality he left JP in ‘92 and revealed his homosexuality in ‘98 before returning to the band a few years later. However, the kernel of the movie about him being replaced by a guy from a tribute band is true.what was the movie?
That’s like me in ‘83 telling my teenage sisters that George Michael was as queer as a football bat and them saying “No way!”Rob coming out was my greatest vindication lol.
"See, I told you those guys were fags!"
I can appreciate it now but I wasn't having that shit in HS.
Ah, love that movie, didn't know it was inspired by Judas. Probably favorite scene is the auditionRock Star (2001). I can't remember who said it, maybe it was Rob, how could you not know? Did you not see all the leather I wear!Rob coming out was my greatest vindication lol.

Rob also sang with Sabbath on three occasions, filling in twice for Dio and once for Ozzy, so he respects the material. That was super faithful to the original. Note for note pretty much.
It wasn't live though so that explains how dialed in the sound and everything was.
I almost thought kvr was trolling for a second.Rock Star (2001). Loosely based on (more like inspired by) Judas Priest’s interval after Rob left the band for a while. I'll tip my hat to that correct prediction. That’s like me in ‘83 telling my teenage sisters that George Michael was as queer as a football bat and them saying “No way!”
I’m kind of in the same boat. I know I liked them when I saw them new, may or may not be impressed on a rewatch.I almost thought kvr was trolling for a second.
That was a really good movie
For anyone like myself that wants to watch a good movie and since recent one's are basically non existent. So they go back through the catalogue to see if they missed any. This is one worth a watch.
On this same topic. " Almost famous " was another good movie if anyone missed it.
* caveat . I liked these movies 20+ years ago . I'm fairly sure they are still good but it has been a long time since I've seen them.
That's a movie that I fully did not get the first time i watched it.It goes up to 11.

I am indeed a boomer, born 1959. Anyone ever saw the WHAM! Video for “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go” and didn’t immediately have their gaydar set off was simply being willfully obtuse. You really only needed to see a picture of Michael to figure it out. In my sisters’ defense, they were 14 and 12 when WHAM! Broke out in ‘82 so their perceptions weren’t as sharp about such things. We’ve had many laughs over the ensuing years about it.I'll tip my hat to that correct prediction.
Seriously. When you get something like that right it deserves recognition and IMO earns credibility.
I was born in 83 . I remember that song(faith ) being bashed down my throat when I was about 4 years old and I fucking hated it. I didn't even know what gay was back then , I just new the song was not as good as they made out.
Another song I hated was " American pie" .
It literally took me about 20 years to get over that trauma and finally re listen and think." OK that wasn't as bad as I remember, I see why people liked it ".
All that is to say. From what I've seen, boomers ( if you even are )
tend to be largely more wrong on things than right. I shall consider your posts greatly, even if my initial inclination is to move on and ignore it.
I'll have a bit of self reflection.
Again , well dine with your prediction. Im sure there was a lot of people out there at the time he came out that said " I told you so" that never did.
I believe you on this .
Hey man. Being right on something is also known as being right.I am indeed a boomer, born 1959. Anyone ever saw the WHAM! Probably sometime in the ‘80s, but maybe later. By 1984 I was married to a broad who already had 3 kids and we had one in the way. I was busting my ass to provide a living and lost touch with pop culture and the things that kids said among themselves. At some point I picked up on it being a thing, but I can’t say exactly when.Hey man. Being right on something is also known as being right.
You were right.
Here's a question ?
I know you're going to know exactly what I'm talking about.
When I was growing up , as we all rember,if something sucked or someone was being a pussy we would all say " that's fucking gay", or some variation.
Fuck we'd say " gay " 20 times a day at least in the 90's
I actually can't remember a specific date where it fell out of otherwise common vernacular. But do you remember when you first started hearing it / using it roughly ?
Either way your super correct .
I'm just wondering 1) I'm curious when calling gay shit gay became a thing.
2) if that was already a common slur at the time.
Either way your right by default.
