    I'm not mad at all.

You call for full transparency. So every country on earth should have multiple websites and TV stations broadcasting thier every activity so the taxpayer knows what's up.

But wait you made exception in a previous post. So some info should remain secret....

It's a matter of national security in most cases.

Until there's a single world government, some shit needs to stay private.

In my opinion Assange and Wikileaks for the most part has been an MSM-promoted limited hangout.

Really there is very little they ever released that lots of people didn't already realize (i.e.; people getting sniped in Iraq with hi tech, etc) I remember lots of discussion on forums when Wikileaks came on the scene and we were all laughing because everything he was 'leaking' was really no surprise to anyone paying attention, it was just 'new' to the mainstream narrative.

One big thing that I can't shake is how he never talks about 9/11 in fact he totally ignores it:

"I'm constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud."

That's just crazy Imo, another well-spoken intelligent and informed personality (like Noam Chomsky, Galloway etc) who is made out to be some intellectual champion but totally caves and avoids 9/11 to the point of void absurdity. A huge topic to discuss from all kinds of fascinating angles and they all just STFU, get red and change the subject.

Other critics say he has a track record for never leaking anything substantial about Israel or their dealings in spy tech, nuclear tech, or lobby influence in the US.

Remember that 'Vault 7' hype? the MSM fucking counted that down like a New Years Eve drop and got the whole world hyped that this was going to expose everything, lol. I kept my eye on that believe me and do you remember a single memorable thing?

The MSM make a big deal about him, sort of making him the perceived leader of the alt media/whistleblower voice of the people etc. But he rarely says shit, and shuts the fuck up completely on certain topics that whatever ones opinion deserve a bit more respect imo

I think if someone like Assange was REALLY a major whistleblower and threat to any great powers, he certainly wouldn't be made into the celebrity that he is, all over front page newspapers all over the world etc. Since when did the MSM ever do any real whistleblowing on the powers that be? (except for nowadays w/ Trump lol)

The best thing I remember from Assange in a long time was his implication of Seth Rich, that was pretty cool but coming from Assange I wonder now, that was kind of a weird slip from Assange I remember.

As for Assange being dead and a clone or fake, etc... it sounds crazy but things like this kinda freaked me the fuck out lol:

that's a pretty stupid position to take.

Did Assange leak military technology secrets to the Chinese, or was it Bill and Hillary that sold military secrets to the Chinese?

Assange/Wikileaks put out information that showed the government was telling us lies. It damaged the ability of powerful people to continue to play the system for their own benefit.

They're punishing him using rules that were put in place to protect secrets that secured freedom against tyranny, even though the secrets he exposed had the effect of securing freedom against tyranny..

I doubt any of us are super informed of wikileaks and world happenings, but I think it's fair to suggest this whole thing is gray, it's not black and white as many of you on both sides are making it out to be.

On one hand if people are doing shady stuff, they should be put on blast but on the other hand, militaries very well can also be very informed and can have capabilities of making it seem as if someone said something they didn't on audio, and or video.

I am not basing this on anything concrete just pure possibility that there's a chance documents, files, videos could purposely be submitted for the purpose of fooling someone. For example if US needed another country to be allies with us if the US was to make a fake video of another country doing shady shit to the country we want to ally with, should wiki leaks share with the world that another country did fake shit, when in reality they didn't? Now the world is condemning a country for something they didn't do.

If your country needed to do something fake in order to gain something, do you think that's wrong? That's a question for anyone.

I don't see your point. Not arguing against what you said, I just don't see the relevance of that statement from what I posted.

what I mean to say is that whatever you're worried about another nation faking, we're actually guilty of that.

I find it greatly concerning that Wikileaks isn't being treated as a "Freedom of the Press" case.

There's an old expression: "It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game." Western nations are supposed to be holding themselves to that type of ideal; aspire for better.

No. Money is extorted from me via threat of violence

I am not responsible for what they do with that money.
