That 7mm mag is all the gun you need to hunt deer, elk, and moose.
This. Hell, it's overkill for most areas in North America.

Use your shotgun for bird hunting. As previously posted, you'll want interchangeable chokes and a gun that will take a variety of loads based on what and how you are hunting.

Move to my state and you can just go buy whatever you want. Fuck having to pass a class just to buy a firearm.

If you can't pass the firearms license test in Canada, I don't even want to be around you and a gun. If you know enough not to point a loaded gun at people/yourself, you are golden. As opposed to the alternative...
I'm suspicious of laws like classes extending creep and fees until guns are totally inaccessible. Buuutttt...I've seen a lot of people that own guns that SHOULD NOT. Just total shit safety.

I think the CHL class is too little to realistically concealed carry for safe effectiveness. But CHL holders are clearly a safer population than the general pop and such a VERY BASIC class would do most gun owenrs a benefit. I wouldn't be angry to see the entire gun owner population be at least to that standard.

Lots of people in this thread looking at guns last year. Anybody pick up anything in the last 10 months?

10 months would be what, April last year?

Sold my Glock 22 and bought a Glock 34. Built a .300BLK upper, bought a 16 inch BCM upper, bought a 14.5 inch Diemaco upper, traded my Glock 17 for a SIG P226R, traded my SIG P226R for a SIG P226 MK25, bought a Savage 11LRH in 6.5 Creedmoor, just parted out the .300 BLK upper to buy a Glock 41. Seriously considering buying a Browning BPS Hunter too as a back up gun.

All you need is some chicks in white tees. Now thats the type of shooting I can get behind. Wait I wont see well from behind huh? Maybe white short shorts too? You got a white tee?
You are giving me ideas....I'll post pics when I water the garden later.

This a Mossberg 44 .22
Shoots shorts and LR from a 7 round magazine.

This is a 44US target trainer. It was made to train troops in WWII. Total production of the 44US was 71,628 rifles through March, 1945.
It has a Lyman peep sight on it which came on the earliest models and was replaced by a cheaper to make s-100 later on.

It's got a heavy stock, bull barrel, and is lead lapped (a process of smoothing the bore for increased accuracy). In short, it shoots like a champion and is a cool piece of history for less cost than a modern .22

Not my target...

Gonna get it all cleaned up and oil the wood (heh!)
Nice. You should look at taking it our and shooting in some silhouette competitions. Great starting rifle for that.

Whoever put the rounds down field, that's a hell of a nice grouping.
