Yeah, but how old were you? A teenager? You can get away with that shit when you're young and most importnaly, head contact isn't in Wrestling, you don't get punched and kicked with a dry brain from sucking all the water out of your body which apparrently takes around 72 hours to completely re-hydrate.hey I used to wrestle at 160 then when I finished it wasn't too long till I was walking around at 190...
Fighters' "walk around" weight can be really misleading, since fighters have different off-season eating and training habits. High-level athletes tend to consume a ton of calories regardless of whether they're training. Rampage Jackson would routinely balloon up to 250+ lbs. in the off-season when he stayed home playing videogames and not doing a lot of conditioning, and then he'd go into camp and shed that weight because he's still a natural athlete. Someone like GSP on the other hand trained literally 50 weeks a year and so his weight wouldn't fluctuate nearly as much.Jesus, according too Wiki th guy walks around at 194! Fuck that's big.

I've heard he cuts from the low to mid 80s. 182-184ish, usually, but he was 'heavy' coming into this one.Fighters' "walk around" weight can be really misleading, since fighters have different off-season eating and training habits. A fighter's training weight is a much better indicator of what their natural weight class should be. I seriously doubt Khabib is 194 lbs. ten days out from a fight.
Hey I'm making a comment on his walk around weight buddy. Walk around weight as in not in fight shape, got some extra fat on him, isn't dehydrated... Comprende?Yeah, but how old were you? A teenager? Ah, thought you were saying you ballooned back up to 190 not long after cutting down too 160.Hey I'm making a comment on his walk around weight buddy. Walk around weight as in not in fight shape, got some extra fat on him, isn't dehydrated... Comprende?
Yeah, I know, take it for what its worth.

He most certainly does say that... Called it like a boss
in the embedded video, at :56, I think Tony says "Have fun with that weight cut"
What I was trying to say is that through out the season I was in great shape and maintained my weight then what it finally ended I didn't have to do that anymore and gained a lot of weight, more than I expected.Ah, thought you were saying you ballooned back up to 190 not long after cutting down too 160.
I've been waiting 10 years for them to switch up the rules. Lost faith a looong time ago.weight cutting is stupid. End of story. They should just weigh in guys 3-4 days before the fight and limit the amount of weight that can be cut. Limit weight cutting for everybody so fighters aren't killing themselves. So if a bunch of fighters have to move up a weight class, so be it.
