Kirstie Gannaway, new OneFC star - smoking hot AND can fight! (pics & vid)

So I watched the ONE Championship from yesterday (I know it's renamed, but OneFC was easier to fit in the title) and caught Kirstie Gannaway's 2nd pro fight. Not only is this chic gorgeous but she had a hell of a back and forth war with a debuting fighter, who was actually a Wushu specialist. She had some pretty sweet unorthodox kicks and techniques.

They both went back and forth in grappling and stand up, several times both came extremely close to the finish. Kirstie pulled out a BRUTAL rear naked choke win in the second after a fucking WAR.. One of the better WMMA fights I've seen in recent years.

Anyway, aside from all that? GOD DAMN, this girl is gorgeous. Gives Alexandra Albu a run for her money for sure. Would love to see her continue to progress her skills in MMA.. She could be a big star in the UFC one day for obvious reasons

Anyway, I thought her fight was awesome, AND felt the need to share her pics with you guys. She's definitely someone who I am gonna be watching. She's actually been boxing for 10 years, and has not lost in either boxing, Muay Thai or MMA. Solid prospect and nice to look at, what more can you ask for Dana?

Nice thread @Galanis ! Just watched the fight. What a war! Some really good submission defense by Osenio in the first, and some brawling by both girls in the second, before Osenio gassed a bit, got caught with few strikes, and then gave up the RNC. And yes, Gannaway is gorgeous.

Gonna follow her on Twitter right now. Who knows, maybe we can get a Q&A with her sometime in the future.

I was gonna post up a few legit Greek female fighters.. including this Greek kickboxing champ who is now training full time n MMA and looks great. BUT not if we are too busy watching men strip at the weigh ins!!

She is super hot for WMMA standards. Totally different standard than normal walk around beautiful.

I hate when women abuse test and get the manly/square jawline. Hate to say it but look at any female body builders neck/chin.. and look at Holly Holm. Not saying she';s on right now. But I wouldn't be surprised if she used something at least once in her life. Girls jaws just don't look that way naturally no matter how much they work out

Sorry for the rant. Not singling out Holly. There's plenty of other name WMMA fighters who have clearly used gear too.

I know what you're saying but this will be almost impossible to get away from. MMAs fan base is men and most men like attractive women regardless the setting. If you're born a pretty girl you instantly have an advantage over the rest and in this case if you can also win fights then your good. I bet if Cyborg looked like PVZ she would of been forgiven for the PEDs long ago.

You nailed it Bird. When your fan base is mostly 18-35 year old men there will be a lot of this now.

Do you think women don't sit around and say GSP is hot? Who cares? It's part of life. Attractive people are found attractive. Shocking I know.

Has NOTHING to do with how good they are as fighters. However, I personally don't like it when I can spot WMMA fighters who have clearly abused male hormones. Not only does that make them unattractive but it makes them cheaters too.

Obviously Gannaway knows she lookws good. She is posing in Asian FHM in revealing clothing. I don't think ti's wrong to think she is pretty when she is the one putting it out there. On top of that, she just had a great fight. How many views would this get f I said "check out this good WMMA fight from the weekend"? Maybe 1/3?

The thread was made to get people to notice her and follow her. Which is exactly what she wants. I made sure to point out that not only is she pretty but she just went through a war at OneFC. A fighter to take notice of.

Again. Nothing to do with their ability. That is not how I judge a fighter. She is a pretty girl and wants people to know it. So does Rousey, who poses half naked several times a year in major magazines.

Like it or not, these women are the one putting themselves out there and marketing themselves that way. Guess we are supposed to pretend we don't find them attractive based on a moral high ground that has no basis in reality?

Go to any female oriented forum. Like Lipstck alley or something. See how they talk about men. Then come back and tell me something like this is bad.

To sum this up. The girl in OP had a war last week at OneFC. I also think she is gorgeous. She knows she is gorgeous and is posing in magazines like FHM.

Go take a look at the UG and how they talk about female fighters and what they'd do to them. Look at my post and please tell me how in any way what I posted is "part of the problem"

Sorry if I went off. It just irks me because I have tons of respect for WMMA fighters and women in general. I'm probably one of the most respectful people you can meet, and I am not trying to just toot my own horn. Just think it's silly that this thread is somehow a bad thing.

It's not like I invaded her personal space and posted up private photos. She is pretty and is putting herself out there as such. If you actually read the OP - one small paragraph is devoted to her looks. The rest is talking about how great of a fight she was just in and how people should watch it.

I guess if a female fighter is very pretty we should avoid looking at her at all and refrain from commenting that a good looking girl with heart, skill and the will to fight can be a star if brought along properly. Seriously go look at what people on the UG say about Miesha, Paige or any other good looking girl. Compare that to what I said and try to tell me this was somehow bad natured or ill intended to WMMA.
