Kyler Murray, who was taken with the 9th pick in the MLB draft is planning on entering the NFL draft.
The Heisman Trophy winner is going to test the waters of the NFL. He had an outstanding season in 2018, showcasing his amazing arm and blazing speed.

IF he goes to NFL he has to give back his 4.66million signing bonus back to the Oakland A's.

    This guy is talented
    The speed is unreal
    Accurate Strong Arm
    Small 5' 10" 190lbs

This move will shake up the draft and upgrade this subpar QB draft class to respectable.

He is short, but Russell Wilson, Drew Brees and Baker Mayfield have had recent success in the NFL.

As a Bronco fan I would love them to take him at #10 in the draft or move up to get him...I think the kid can flat out play.

    watch that highlight reel
His speed and Arm are quite amazing
Multiple release angles from his baseball background(much like Pat Mahomes the potential 2018 NFL MVP)

That Speed is unreal...He is able to flee the pocket in a flash and in open field he can outrun even the fastest of defenders

So he's passing up on a league that provides the opportunity for a much longer career along with guaranteed contracts in favor of a league that typically has much shorter careers and non-guaranteed contracts.

He'll be rich either way, but that's not the direction I'd be going.

agreed...I don't quite get the decision

Denver Needs a QB and so does 70% of the NFL so it has me excited

Never seen a guy that blazing fast that can pass like him....Vick was close but Murray has even more agility and better accuracy/release

We'll see if he can read a defense.
The most important weapon of an NFL quarterback is his brain.

    so true
seems quite intelligent and of good character
Can he read a zone blitz? Can he look off safety help?
Can he see over his Lineman that are 8 inches taller than him?

    Lotta questions...risky prospect for sure

Yeah I saw him interviewed before his bowl game. Very smart dude. Class act. Definitely the kind of guy I can see being the leader of a pro football team.

I would always pick CTE over a long guaranteed contract and 4.6 mil up front. Will he even make 4.6 his first year in the NFL? Charlie ward was even smart enough to play in the NBA.

4.66million is just his signing bonus, so he likely makes 10+ mill his first year with Oakland A's

He is definitely not making this decision based on $$$, he must really love to play football and test himself on that level

It makes him a risky draft pick also...I imagine if he doesn't find success quickly or gets injured or burned out he can just go back to Baseball...NFL doesn't usually have guaranteed contracts so they don't give a F about you, no reason to show loyalty to them

This kid has a little bit of Pat Mahomes in him...but much faster...and quite a bit smaller

U excited for the Chiefs game this weekend? or do you even care about NFL?

Chiefs fans are fucking delusional. I have been through the worst of the worst with them. KC puts up with mediocrity like no one else with their sports teams. It was good to see Royals win but the fans were unbearable and now they suck again so that's hilarious. If the chiefs win this city will burn and they will talk about it the next decade even if they suck. That's the Midwest for you.

It will be epic if the meltdown again. 3 times getting bad beats against the Colts will be awesome.

It will be better than that one time when @THAT ONR DUDE rage quit
