The weigh-ins for “AXS TV: RFA vs. Legacy Superfight” took place today and, while not every fighter was able to hit the mark, the two men vying for the AXS TV flyweight superfight championship both made weight.
“AXS TV: RFA vs. Legacy Superfight” takes place Friday at Horseshoe Tunica Resort & Casino in Robinsonville, Miss. The event airs on AXS TV.
Damacio Page and Alexandre Pantoja meet for the AXS TV superfight belt in the main event. Both men weighed in the same, tipping the scales at 124.8 pounds.
Luke Sanders puts his RFA bantamweight title on the line against Terrion Ware in the co-main event. Ware hit the mark exactly, coming in at 135 pounds. Sanders did his part in making things official, weighing 134.4 pounds.
There’s one other title fight scheduled for the event and one fighter still has some work to do if he wants to fight for the vacant Legacy FC lightweight title. Dave Burrow hit 155.2 pounds on the scales, but Mike Bronzoulis was well over the 155 pound limit as he weighed 157.6 pounds. Bronzoulis has two hours to get down to 155.
