The Lincoln Cathedral (United Kingdom) was the tallest building in the world from 1311 until 1549, surpassing the Great Pyramids of Giza.

It was only surpassed because a storm damaged it, an actual taller building wasn't built until 1884; the Washington Monument at 169.29 meters surpassing the 160 meters of the original Lincoln Cathedral height.

The CPR training mannequin's face is originally cast from a “death mask” made from an unknown young woman who drowned in the River Seine in the late 1880s.

"L'inconnue de la Seine" is a young woman whose body was pulled out of the Seine in Paris in the late 1880's. Story claims that her body showed no signs of violence, thus the suicide claim (she would've been around the age àf 16).

The pathologist who examined her at the morgue, marvelled by her beauty, decided to make a wax death mask of her face. Later on in 1960, Peter Safar and Asmund Laerdal, (the creators of the first aid mannequin "Resusci Anne") chose the Seine woman’s death mask as the face of the CPR doll.

In 2009, a photo captured 12-year-old Brazilian violinist Diego Frazão Torquato crying while playing at the funeral of his mentor, Evandro João da Silva. Evandro, who used music to guide kids in poor neighborhoods away from crime, was killed in a robbery in Rio.

Despite the recognition and opportunities, Diego’s health deteriorated, and he was diagnosed with pneumonia in February 2010. Unfortunately, he passed away on April 1, 2010, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and determination.

An entire Boeing 727 was stolen from an airport in 2003—and has never been seen since.

Two men—Ben Charles Padilla (an American pilot/mechanic) and John Mutantu (a Congolese assistant)—climbed aboard, fired up the engines, and took off without clearance, lights off, transponder off, and zero communication.

What followed was an international wild goose chase involving the FBI, CIA, and global aviation authorities. A possible sighting was reported months later in Guinea, but nothing came of it.

No wreckage. No radar. No ransom. No confirmed sightings.

To this day, both the men and the plane remain missing.
