He didn’t even make a real effort to land a magic punch though. Maybe he is just washed up. Maybe he was on the gear before. Maybe his shoulder injuries have taken their toll. Maybe he is in need of a sports psychologist. Whatever the reason, he appears done as a threat to the upper tier at WW. He had a good run, but his talk about being “the best WW of all time” is even funnier now than when he initially said it.

I don’t understand Dana’s hard-on to have retirement talks with Woodley and Cowboy. I mean, they have been fighting the best of the best for a decade...how about show them the respect of not making these decisions public and simply move their level of competition down a few levels. Make them gate keepers to the next generation, don’t put them out to pasture.

dana should release them instead of talking retirement.there are still fights for both those guys with bellator and PFL

No matter what anyone thinks about Colby or Trump, that was an amazing moment. Put yourself back when you were in grammar school. The teacher asks you what is your dream beyond your wildest dream. You say, I’m going to be a sports star and the president will call me to congratulate me after my fight.
Colby is a dick and cringe city, but seriously, good for him. He had the leader of the free world in the political fight of our generation calling him after leaving a rally to watch his fight. Colby is an asshat, but he has won at life like so many others never will. If not respect, kudos.

Chimaev vs Colby would be a GREAT FIGHT! Both come in with supreme gas tanks, both have great wrestling, both got hands. I think Chimaev is ready for that level.
