How would rebuild your skill set?

Say if at first you were a guard puller do you wish you'd have spent more time building up your TDs instead? Did you base your mount escapes off trap and roll but regret not investing in more regarding now?

I'm almost at my one year mark and still loving it. But starting late I'm looking to maximize my time going forward. Any feedback will be appreciated.

I didn't really start guard playing until I was a second degree purple belt (and nursing a knee injury that prevented me from playing my typical cross side/knee on belly attack).... I wish I started that journey sooner.

I wish I focused more on the fundamentals. I've developed a solid game at blue belt that can win me comps, but my fundamentals are not that good technically speaking.
