"She made some commitments before the fight to make two movies. So she's going to do that. Then get back to training in the Octagon."
Fertitta believes Rousey's return will prove to be the biggest fight in UFC history and if everything works out, she will rematch Holm at UFC 200 in July at the new Las Vegas arena being built by MGM Properties.

The rematch still hasn't come together, but Fertitta is hopeful that a deal will be done to put Holm vs. Rousey 2 as one of the headline fights on what likely would be the most heavily promoted UFC card of all time.

"We'd like to make that fight happen in July at UFC 200. We're still talking to Holly's management team to figure out whether that works for them. We should know in the near future."

Fertitta has no doubt that Rousey is 100 percent committed to a rematch with Holm next year despite her budding acting career. She appeared in a trio of films over the past two years and also has committed to a biopic based on the book she co-wrote with her sister titled "My Fight/Your Fight".

"She has options. But let me tell you what. Ronda is the single most competitive person I've ever met in my life," Fertitta said. "If you don't think she isn't ready right now, she's plotting her comeback. I don't think anything can stop her from coming back."

Those movie offers still on the table? If so, surprised, particularly the roadhouse one. Dalton is unbeatable, she no longer is.

Unless this is gonna be a speed dating movie, it usually takes 3 months to film a movie X2, well im sure B rated movies take less but 2 movies and then try to do a fight camp. And here we are approaching January and she hasnt even started to film so I think this is all smoke and mirrors, watch it will be delayed by an injury or something to rousey.

They've already said it doesn't. What he means to say is-

"We've given Holly's management team our bullshit terms, we're just waiting for them to give in."

Why not let Holly fight before if she wants to. Sick of them making the Champ wait on opponents, totally disrespectful.

Rogan said Holly gets at least 7 Million for Holly/ Rousey 2. It might be in her best interest to wait.

If not then they should offer holly something to get paid in the mean time, but I think it's more of an issue about being active for her??

Personally I think it's a bad idea to spend her time making movies instead of improving her overall skillset unless making movies is the road she wants to go down.

As much shit as Rousey has talked I kind of feel sorry for her, it appears she's being bled for all she's worth and led to slaughter and is somewhat naive to it?? I don't know but I hope she knows what she's doing.

I can't see Ronda ever beating Holly unless she switches camps, puts everything on hold that's not fighting, & goes full Balboa. The fact that Ronda blames the loss on 1 punch that stunned her, rather than a lack of game planning & a skill deficit, makes it even worse.

She's pretty much fucked, IMO.

With this mentality of movies over fighting, she loses the rematch and then retires.

Muh, I'm not even interested in the fight because of Rhonda. I'm interested in the fight to watch Holly but the shit the ufc pulls postponing this fight and giving a rematch sure make me glad I made the decision to stop buying their product.

So Ronda is going to go straight from the movie set to the octagon. Sounds like a money grab to me on the part of the UFC. The way they've been making decisions lately regarding fighters has really opened my eyes to how much they really don't care about them.

Holm should have a fight before fighting Ronda and Ronda should come back when she's damn well ready to devote 100 percent to MMA and get at least 1 tune up fight before the rematch.

The UFC doesn't want to risk Holm losing to the likes of Tate while waiting for Ronda. The UFC isn't putting the interest of either fighter first, though Holm stands to benefit more financially by waiting.

Ronda is the single most competitive person I've ever met in my life," Fertitta said.
That's the official company response to any questions about Ronda being ready for a rematch. I know these guys inherited their wealth, but when you're a 50 year old billionaire and Ronda is the "single most competitive person" you've ever met in your life? Come on, no one believes that. Look, there's this guy, his name is Michael Jordan, arguably the greatest basketball player in the history of the sport, who is still the highest paid basketball player (annually) twenty years after he retired for the third and final time. He's a billionaire too, and he just dropped his new shoe on the same day that the Warriors lost their first game of the season. That's competitive.

This is all I saw when reading this.

She's gonna take her entire time off on two movie sets and be rushed into 7 months from now?
Do most actors have time for an entire MMA camp in between two feature length movies in half a year?

If we were talking about a rematch with Bethe I could see it but not a rematch with the person that obliterated you. That this is even being discussed is amazing to me.
