It is not an easy rehab for starters and it is something that he will feel daily for the rest of his life.

NFL guys that get plates, rods, screws are often having complications and needing secondary surgeries.
I hope it heals great for him and he certainly can afford some top of the line treatment to try to get it back close to 100%. Maybe stem cell stuff and all that can help him.
As a bonus when he is an old man he can probably sense storms coming before everybody else...The I can feel it in my bones type of thing.
NSAC affiliated doctors should be doing a better job they are out here letting people fight with brain and heart problems. the feds should fire what ever doctor that caught this and still cleared him to fight.

There is a lot of money to be made on selling a pre existing injury to add legitimacy to a 4th matchup after DP took two straight. That much money can warp the truth. This could just be a narrative that formed post fight.
I have the same rod in the same leg. But I also have more hardware as well. It will not be an advantage or as good as before the injury. Each screw keeping that rod in place is a possible future fail point. I had an additional surgery to fix that exact issue. Impact energy has to go somewhere. Reducing natural bone density is never a positive even though it's now bonded to titanium hardware.
As fucked up as this would be it would be better than the alternative, that he is so full of himself he wants the world to think he hurt himself and Dustin had no part of it. Most would see the opportunity to say they felt something wrong early in the round and it got worse until the full break. Thus affecting his performance and game plan. It was an olive branch on a shiny silver platter. Nope, full retard mode engaaaage.
