Mark Hunt turned to social media to once again vent his frustration about Brock Lesnar and his failed drug tests as Lesnar made his return to pro wrestling last night.

As we noted earlier, Brock Lesnar made his return to a WWE ring last night at SummerSlam, where he bloodied up his opponent. One amusing aspect of the show was during Lesnar's entrance, where a fan leaned over the railing with a sign that said "Got Juice". This was, of course, a reference to Lesnar failing two USADA drug tests for an estrogen blocker around his UFC 200 win over Mark Hunt.

Hunt, who has been very vocal about Lesnar's failed tests in the aftermath of the UFC 200 event, once again turned to social media to skewer Lesnar last night, and appropriately used the image of Lesnar with that particular sign…

He is mad he got beat up by a pro wrestler and he cant handle it. Those two could fight again today and the outcome would be the same.

Brock is a freak athlete, no doubt about it, but he's also a steroid user and that makes him a fraud in my eyes.

I just fail to see the issue. Hunt basically said before the fight Brock was using. Why even take the fight if all you would do for months after is complain about fighting a user when you knew that to be the case going into the fight?

Bingo. If he fought Josh Barnett to the same outcome he wouldn't be making as much noise. I honestly don't think hunt believed he could lose to Brock. All of the yelling now seems to be like sour grapes and being noisy to collect some of the Brock $$. And i friggen love mark hunt.

The guys with troubled pasts/street reps and so on seem to be the worst losers. Diaz bros, Tank Abbott, guys like that. They rarely compliment an opponent and have a hard time coming to grips with an L.

What are you talking about. Nick Diaz has never lost a fight. Just ask him.

I'll try to answer. It he wins, he gets paid. If he loses, he still gets paid and he can still pull the PED card anyway with that PED testing exemption Brock was given before the fight. For Hunt, taking the fight against an obvious cheater was still a risk worth taking considering the pressure Zuffa was under to deliver for UFC 200 after Jones and Cormier fell through.

How about that the UFC is SUPPOSED to be the premier MMA organisation on the planet and that they want to cement that, in part, by clamping down on fighters contracted under them who are found to use illegal supplements.

Lesnar gets brought in as a way to boost numbers and pops for illegal substances at the expense of a veteran and star in his own right. This then gets seemingly swept under the rug as if it was no big deal.

Well it is. You can be seen as the premier organisation by casual fans the world over but if you're basically legitamazing the illegal actions of a figher while speaking out against other fighters for similar actions then you aren't premier at anything.

There isn't anything you said I don't agree with. My issue that I don't see is Hunt knew when he took that fight Lesnar was or had recently been on roids. We all knew. Everyone and their brother knew. Hunt even said so going into the fight. If you knew and took it anyway then why complain?

I agree that was the logic. Maybe it's Hunt's method that confuses me. He seems to be surprised or shocked maybe even appalled. Why? We all knew. He knew. Zuffa knew. The fans knew. Everyone knew.

I don't know Mark Hunt's thought process, given that I'm not him and I don't know him, but I'm sure if he actually believed Lesnar was on roids. If it were me I'd talk a bit of crap to hype up the fight, but wouldn't legit think the premier MMA org would bring in a guy taking illegal supplements, even if it is a big name.

Plus Lesnar's the third guy Hunt faced in two years, and the second in a row who popped for illegal substances. I for one can fully understand the frustration and anger at constantly fighting guys who are trying to game their system to their advantage and your disadvantage.

That's fine. Gripe about the organization that literally cooked the system to allow it to happen but let's not all pretend we didn't see this coming a mile away. Hunt included. And for the record he is one of my favorite fighters ever.

I don't know if anyone's pretending. I think Hunt's more angry at fighting yet another guy who took illegal shit, especially when this fight was one of the last announced for UFC 200 and was the fight that more or less saved the event.

I get Hunt being mad about constantly fighting guys who are caught using PEDs after the fight. But would he rather go back to his days in Pride where we knew that the guys were still juicing just as much and yet it was in the contracts that they weren't going to test for PEDs so there wasn't even a guise of people getting in trouble for using them? Also, it's not up to the UFC to fine or take money away from one guilty fighter and give that money to the "clean" fighter. He should be pissed at the commissions over that and over the fact that if they levee a fine that they get the money instead of the person that was punched in the face.

It just all feels so misplaced. Be pissed at the assholes gaming the system. Be pissed at the commissions who don't punish the guilty enough financially and reap all of the rewards of the fines that they do hand out. Be pissed that the out of competition test that Brock failed wasn't rushed and didn't catch him before he beat your ass. But don't freak out excessively at the only organization that's actually done anything above and beyond what's required to try to stop PED use to the point that they're having STARS fail tests. If only guys on prelims were failing then I'd smell some bullshit when Brock passes with flying colors but they're not. The system isn't perfect by any means but it's the best option available for better or for worse.
