UFC welterweight Matt Brown will try to shrug off a very unpleasant trip to Brazil in his most recent octagon appearance, facing off with Jake Ellenberger at UFC 201.
ESPN reported today that verbal agreements are in place for the bout to take place at the July 30 pay-per-view event at Atlanta’s Phillips Arena, and UFC officials subsequently confirmed the booking. A welterweight title bout between champ Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley serves as the card’s headliner.
UFC 201’s main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. The bout order has not been finalized.
