True, I just don't like that one because I read a lot of sci fi.
I enjoyed the first one, even it was cheesey as fuck, other 2 were crap.
You're aware that acting is about 75% physical action and 25% dialogue delivery, right?
I don't know about that ratio, when the actor is as bad as Keanu I don't care if he looks the part with his gun play, the immersion is gone as soon as he is cast for me, hes is just Keanu in every fuckin film.
I know most of his films are all about the action, and there are plenty of films I enjoy with shit actors and worse action scenes than the Wick films.
Something about the roles he gets cast in have just pissed me off, I don't know exactly what it is I just can't stand the wooden bastard, holds some good films back from being great for me.

DeNiro became so one dimensional that he started starring in parodies of his other movies. I'd rather you just say "I don't know why, but I don't like him."
De Niro put the work in man, the tail end of his career I can forgive him for. Just for Raging Bull, Taxi Driver and Deerhunter I will forgive him for as many meet the fockers he wants to shoot.
I'm not going to watch that shit and if i do see any of those films by chance I wont enjoy it.
Reeves was shit in Scanner Darkly, shit in Devils Advocate, Dracula even though it was basically a comedy, 47 Ronin, Constintine, even the matrix.
Most of the time I see him in a film with a half decent script or story I think why is this dry wooden plank here to ruin this shit, it could have been good.
He puts the work in so he looks the part, I can respect that, he is still a shit actor and any francise built around him is hard to watch in my opinion, even if it is a 2 hour shootout and 10 lines of painful dialogue.
De Niro so regularly plays the same role that when I point out that he plays the same role in parodies, you didn't even guess the parody I was referring too. The really funny thing about your list of guys, is that even when they were Keanu's age, they still wouldn't have been able to do the Wick movies.
I couldn't remember the name of the Goodfellas /Godfather piss take.
Maybe not, he is 55 and in decent condition, well trained with a gun in his hand, are you arguing that makes him as good an actor as De Niro?

John Wick's a shoe in entertainment wise. Worried about Matrix coming back though.
I argue they specialize in different segments of the craft. There's not a day in DeNiros life he could have played John Wick.
Keanu is a stuntman, thats his fucking craft, mans a walking meme, get the fuck out of here with that bullshit.
You're aware that the physical aspect of film is what makes someone an actor rather than a radio voice, right?
I am more aware of the industry than most, I work in it, radio voice has fuck all to do with it.
It is about living the role, breathing life into the character, its about making a connection with the audience allowing them to suspend disbelief and immersing them selves.
When someone talks about John Wick off screen it paints a picture to the audience, when you get hur dur yeah bro on screen it completely snaps any immersion what so ever and turns what ever film he is in into a joke.
Even the way he carries himself is the same in every fucking film.
He is incapable of playing a even a basic tough guy with any ability, all he is good at is stunt work, he is a stunt man with moderate looks and a very fucking good agent, the man is not an actor.
He is a walking fucking meme for this very reason, stunt work is not easy, I give him credit there, he deserves fucking none anywhere else and if you want to pretend that makes him an actor on the level of greats like De Niro you can fuck off.
You can also train a monkey to hold a gun and look good shooting it, you can spend a lifetime and still not be a half decent actor, Keanu being the perfect example of that.

At the moment fuck all, I'm on my holidays, crew starts in January for a film I will be working on , director Robert Eggers new one The Northman.
Thats about all I am saying on the subject, I don't talk about my work online at all really, can get you in trouble quickly in the film industry.
