hard to do when you're on your back getting beat on...RDA will take him down like mendes but pass guard and nighty night...styles make fights..and any good grappler is bad news for him...
Hmmmmm.... we shall see! But as of now... my money is on Money Mac. He's landing the left, he's landing the right.

The only thing RDA and Jose are using their left and rights for are talking shit on Twitter... and that's some punk shit imo hahah

"Nate came in, I felt I took him in the first round, but I was inefficient with my energy."

You had a full camp and started strong and just gassed yourself out?

"Usually, when I fight a man in the division I am champion in and they crumble under those shots. But Nate took them very well. I think the weight allowed him to take those shots well."

Nate had an advantage because he's bigger than me.

"It wasn't ideal, I got caught. It is what it is. I'll face it. I'll take it on the chin. And I'll carry on. I'll learn from it. And that's it."

"Got caught"? Aldo got caught, Conor ate a series of punches that lead to him being rocked.

Sorry friend, but those are excuses, and now he's coming full circle by saying "Well, I'd have beaten the other guy who I was supposed to be fighting."

If Conor had gone into Saturday night as disliked as Hendricks is, people would be teeing off on him for this laundry list of nonsense. He simply lacks the tools to compete with bigger fighters. On Wednesday he was going to beat Robbie Lawler, but Saturday night we saw him unable to drop, or take shots from Nate.

For reference, this is how Nate's last welterweight fight went:

You get a winner not only for your post but for including a gif of a sweet slam. :D

oh no, he isn't going this route, is he? i don't like him now, but this shit will make me lose all respect for him. stop it conor! nate isn't the only one at 55 with a solid chin.

not in the ground game necessarily... if he gets takedown defense really, really good, he can stop takedowns and if he gets good enoguh conditioning he can keep the pressure on if he doesn't finish a fighter early. he can be just like chuck lidell was except with fancier and prettier movement/strikes

also, conor still has the best striking (except for maybe aldo) at 145, and probably the best at 155...
he didn't come out victorious this time, but if you r all thinking he's been exposed.. he hasn't. we all knew his weakness was the ground game.. and i've known that he keeps his chin exposed a lot.. a few tweaks, a tuck of the chin, a lot and a lot of takedown defense training and some improved ground game (can't say the fight will never go there) and he's almost unbeatable
I donno about his stand up being the best. It's good don't get me wrong but Nate got him standing through a series of striking exchanges and then finished it on the ground.

dont get me wrong, nate did catch mcgregor on the chin and from there mcgregor was confused and his energy sapped immediately...and then finished.

but conor has better striking, by a long shot. he didn't win the fight, but his stand up game is way ahead of diaz's.

RDA just fought and kicked ass! he's been very active which is one of the keys to his sucess.

just because Conor says so doesn't make it true. an actual doctor saw RDA.

I think saying Diaz 'caught' McGregor is a bit disingenuous at best imo

Well, Conor is at the point of no return IMO. He has to win his next fight, or get laughed into Bolivia.

yeah. this guy's a goof. always talking shit to members, and saying shit about other fighters that do what his favorites do.

wasn't the striking % just about even? with Nate coming off the couch and pacing himself for a round

if I wasn't so annoyed with him I'd already be laughing. pretty sure he's going on an extended losing strek.

damn didn't even mean to post that first quote and response, but I stand behind it.

If Khabib is anywhere near as good as he was prior to the injuries, then all of this other stuff is just a momentary glitch in the matrix.

He's got to be shaken. The next fight will be his toughest test so far, no matter who it's against.

You said it homie. Most disappointed I've ever been with injuries since becoming an mma fan.

Agreed. If he beats Aldo again though, they can't deny Frankie.
This is true, but as you said, he needs a win. A victory over Aldo might give him the confidence to beat Frankie. As you said, a loss to Frankie gets him laughed into Bolivia.
