Apparently he was serving an eviction notice to a guy at an apartment - the guy refused to come out - so when cops entered the apartment the suspect opened fire with an AK47 - Chris Holte the cop was killed and the suspects girlfriend inside the apartment also was killed - suspect and one another cop survived the shootout.
