I just preordered this (for delivery in July) from Riot for $75 us (125 can including shipping). I guess it's based on LOL (which I've never played but my son plays sometimes) but you don't need to know about the universe to play the game.

I've been wanting to get into board games with a few of my friends and this one is cooperative (which seems like a good idea) and looks really fun. The box is filled with 16 pounds (!) of miniatures, guides and gameplay accessories. All the reviews I watched on youtube were very positive so I figured I'd give it a shot. Here are some pics and a video.

My game showed up yesterday. My son and I played the tutorial last night and it was really fun. Going to try the first mission tonight.

Never played anything like this, but we were Risk warriors after we got home from Iraq and there was nothing to do lol. We'd sit in the hanger office and play Risk for our whole day.

I used to play risk and axis and allies when I was younger. They're great games.

I played through the second mission the other night with two friends and my son and it was a blast. Next mission is a boss level and looks pretty tough. The boss was hidden in his own box and we opened it after we finished the last game. He's huge.

Those grey guys at the front are the regular enemies and he's the one in the middle. Should be a fun time.
