I'm 30 seconds in and this mother fucker is tweaking.

Ya he is a bit tweaky
Last time he was on JRE he clicked that pen about 3 thousand times

I think he has to be medicated to act and might be a bit permanently tweaked from too many stimulants as a baseline
Kind of has always had some twitches like a Tourettes person, + semi autistic until he gets going in a train of thought

Man, I've been waiting for him to be back on for years. Love that he brought the pen back for a laugh.

All these actors are freaks of nature(mentally) but I feel Mel is the best of em. Great movie making as an art was lost as soon as they canceled him. They were poorer for it and I believe they realize it now.

His non blockbusters are some of my favorites. Payback, Conspiracy Theory, Ransom. Blood father, semi-recently is a good one if you haven't checked it out.

I don’t think he was really acting in Lethal Weapon, I think that’s how he really is. Haha

Haha, that's the scene I was just thinking about in my head while watching this podcast. He was acting in Mad Max but not in Lethal Weapon lol.

I think they're still trying to make Lethal Weapon 5. Donner passing away put a halt to it but Gibson is in the director's chair now.

Pretty wild concept to lose literally everything besides the clothes on your back.

Even wilder to go through it in your 70s.
All your treasures, your dumb shit nobody but you cares about. No pictures or medals, everything your family passed down, every unique thing you picked up along the way.

I can't imagine the amount of art and artifacts that got burned away to ash

It is, isn't it? I can understand having a hard time with insurance cause I choose to surround myself with flammable items, though. I guess I'm kinda California!
