So that's a no, then. You won't attempt to do anything more than scream "CONSPIRACY!!!!" over and over, or give me anything more in-depth than a canned answer that would fit on a meme.

What a surprise, right? I know I'm shocked.

??
i posted several short videos, and gave you a google search term...but that's too much effort because you have no desire to challenge your own perception of yourself as informed and nuanced.

you are not.

She's learning the corruption ropes from the best in the business.

Pretend you care.
Tug at the heartstrings.
Get the votes.
Line your pockets.
Do nothing.

Rinse/Repeat

And no matter how many times you fail on your commitments and improve nothing for your constituents, you will still get those votes because blue > red.

^this guy gets it.

you are not.

I'm not watching YouTube videos at work, and I'm not interested in Google search terms.

In your own words, please.

Like I respond to you with.

again, you refuse to advance the conversation because to do so would challenge your self-perception.

It's called "Force The Vote"

they had all the leverage in the world and they did the bidding of Pelosi.
They had the leverage to force a vote on Medicare For All, and they didn't. Because #M4ALL is a talking point for careerists like AOC and Bernie, but actually accomplishing it would be political death at the hands of establishment PINOs (Progressive In Name Only) like Pelosi and Schumer.

Okay, say they in fact DID force the vote.

Would they have won? Did they have the votes?

SHOULD the minority-in-numbers fringe wing of the Democrats be allowed to dictate all of the Democrat's policy, anyway? Never mind, we'll leave that for next time.

So, say they forced the vote.

What happens next? Game it out for us?

Or not?

Pelosi calls a floor vote on #M4ALL or loses her chair.
Democrats can then pass the #M4ALL legislation.

US descends in to a socialist shithole like Australia or New Zealand.

roll credits.

EDIT: keep moving the goalposts...

So AOC and the Squad had the numbers to get it passed, did they?

??
they had the numbers.

are you incapable of doing your own investigation. Where are you on the imbecile scale?

“Even the co-sponsors aren’t putting it on the floor,” said Terrell Anderson, 31, a Democrat running for Congress in Alabama's deep-red 2nd Congressional District. “I feel like a lot of people co-sponsoring the bill are signaling that they’re on our side, but they’re not serious about it.”

He's telling me that she should have forced a vote.

Okay, let's say she did exactly that.

What happens next?

But disingenuous to shit all over her for not doing something....... then refuse to outline what would have inevitably happened if she HAD done exactly that, eh?

to be clear, if all the ShitLibs who say they are for M4A would vote for it, they would pass it easily.

but that's the point. M4A is against the interests of their donors, and in the interests of their "constituents".

it's a core hypocrisy of the The Squad.

Don't know.
It all starts with her doing what she promised she would do.

She's all talk.

At the end of the day, she's just another politician. She just happens to have a great ass and nice tits.
she doesn't want to beat Pelosi, she wants to be Pelosi.

It's a fun thing to trumpet when you can't actualy do anything about it. But when you can do something and all that big money doesn't want it going through - that trumpeting turns into a murmur which turns into a whisper which turns into nothing at all.

All talk.

This is a common idea that keeps getting repeated by Dore and his acolytes, but it would've required a unified Progressive Caucus and a willingness to burn the bridge with House leadership which means all your bills die in committee or don't get scheduled for a floor vote for years as punishment. It's different in the Senate where every vote counts because of the slim lead so blue dogs can dominate the Democratic side. There were concessions extracted from the leadership on a number of issues during that time, for example student loan forgiveness getting pushed harder and extension of the eviction moratorium. If you look at much of the progressive caucus, they don't have a high bill passage rate anyway because the more conservative elements of the party (who are the majority) usually block them so anyone who attempted that force the vote stunt would've had to know the wrath would've likely been distributed throughout the membership, even among people who voted the way they were expected to.

Dore and others have relied on the fact that most people don't understand the way Congress works to drive clicks and views on their YouTube channels, but I do think their criticism is needed. If people get elected as Leftists, they need to answer why they're not taking more principled stands, even if it requires explaining insider baseball. The "squad" members mostly failed at this and tried to ignore it at first then defaulted to a "you just don't get it" kind of explanation which is probably because you can't go out and say "hey, the guys I'm trying to get to pass life saving legislation would've spiked it out of spite" because that too would've been a bad look. Imo, the fact that the halo has worn off of AOC and others is a good thing. But most of the people who say "see, this is proof they're all corrupt!" Or "I'm never voting again!" Are morons. All they have to do is at least sit and watch The Distinguished Gentleman with Eddie Murphy and they'd be able to figure out the basics.

It's kinda shocking how many people just don't seem to comprehend - at all - that being in a democracy means that you don't get everything that you want. You have to negotiate with others. And compromise. So your system and the policies it generates is more prone to gridlock and incrementalism than it is to careening between rival sets of extremist fanatics every couple of years. That's kinda the point of it, actually.
