Its annoying to no end that they have not caught zodiac or onsear.
was ONSEAR not Joseph James DeAngelo?

the case of the OAK county child killer always fascinated, while annoying me to no end.

def something much bigger than what's being told IMO, it's a season of True Detective waiting to happen.

I’m waiting until I finish this season. I’ve already looked in to a lot of them, I just realized I want to delve deeper.
It's cool how the show keeps it - for the most part - historically accurate.

I listened to a podcast that happened to be about much of what Season 2 focused on. Highly recommended.

Yes. Tell me more about that.

Just read the dude that plays Charles Manson in this also played him in “Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood”, which I haven’t seen... but I find that interesting.

Interesting premise.

Starts off shit, sound is bad ,casting is bad, acting is bad, scenes feel forced, doesn't feel like its in the 70s.

Gets a bit more interesting as it goes on, interviews are good, casting gets better for the serial killers, acting gets better, worth sticking the first 3 or 4 shit episodes out.

Thanks. Gonna add that. On my Jacksonville drive, I listened to quite a few podcasts... I’ve never listened to any before, so it was pretty cool.
If you are getting into podcasts and like true crime, I have a few good ones for you. But Atlanta Monster is a good one to go with since it coincides so well with Mindhunters Season 2.

My best friend listens to all those True Crime podcasts. I was listening to MMA ones when I was driving.

I listened to one about the Piketon, Ohio murders while I was driving through Piketon, Ohio. That was pretty cool.

Larry King, Paul Bonnaci, Sam Soda, Paul Bishop, Ted Gunderson, John DeCamp, Gary Caradori, Orval Cooney, Troy Boner, Alisha Owen, Michael Acquino, Frank Syroka, etc, etc.

FBI, DMPD, Private Investigators, John Sr. vs. Noreen, Paul Bishop vs Sam Soda - who's playing who?

who exactly was Sam Soda? legit investigator or mole? what about his unexplained access to all things pedo & prediction of Eugene Martin's kidnapping?

who exactly was Paul Bishop? was his claim of being a "CIA asset" legit? his number (supposedly) rang in to Langley & (according to Noreen) he was instrumental in helping her testify in front of congress. was he sincere in fingering Sam Soda as an accomplice in the abduction? was his later arrest for child porn a set up or was he just another creep hanging around the case?

blatant corruption of the Des Moines PD, admitted sexual abuse of (possibly 14) other DM area paperboys at the time, eventual conviction & suicide of offender, reported sightings of Johnny, the reliability of witnesses, Temple of Set, organized pedo rings, etc.

I was watching a youtube video on ed kemper and found a bit disturbing that the only thing that might have kept a guy with a 145 iq from being a cop is that the police force he was applying to had a height limit. he probably could have gotten around the psychological test. his list of victims could have been in the hundreds if he had become a cop.
