"This is definitely it, I have many health problems"

"How about one more fight in Japan?"

"You know... suddenly I feel ok."

OK, here's the fight I'd like to see -- vs Wanderlei Silva in Japan on NYE. First fight was a draw, second fight Wand got the left leg cemetery upside the head. We need to complete the trilogy.

it would be hard to turn it down when they paid him 350k,a belt ,a trophy, a cruise to spain, pobably sent 20 hookers to his hotel, etc it beats the 85k and zero respect he got from the ufc

i have always been a huge wandy fan but at this point in time i think he has nothing for steroid crocop .even if wandy juices to his former pride glory mirko crocop always has his number.wand will always come foreward with aggression and it plays right into mirkos game

I know what you're saying, just like Japanese pro wrestlers who go on entire tours of farewell fights. But at 42 and with a bum knee, I don't know if that's possible.

You might be right. I was thinking a decade has gone by since the last fight and if they both juice to the gills, maybe Wand would have a chance. ... Somebody else on here suggested Fedor, who I had not even considered. Now that would be huge on NYE.

Going out as a tournament champion is the oerf ft way to end a storied career. He's older and has nothing to prove. Then again, if it's in Japan, he may have another 10 years or so of good fights left.

No doubt. I think also the guy just loves fighting. His body tells him one thing but his mind says "you can do one more".

Wandy is one of my all time favorites. But I really don't know if I want to see him fight anymore. Power is the last thing to go -- but Mirko is a bad idea IMO.

The more "legends" fights I see -- the less I like them. Don't get me wrong, I'll tune in. But it is almost impossible for both fighters to be at a similar level of decline.
Yeah I don't think that would end well for Wand. Shit, how long has it been since he fought? 3 years?
