In Makhachkala, two unknown masked men attacked MMA fighter Timur Khizriev and shot him
The athlete was ambushed: a man in a white T-shirt got out of a black jeep, a few seconds later, guys ran up to him and shot him point-blank. After that, the unknown men fled. Timur was hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds.
Security forces are looking for 29-year-old Marcel Aliyev (2 photos) for the attack on the fighter. The shooter fled with two accomplices in a white tinted Priora. An "Interception" plan has been announced in Makhachkala.
According to some reports, Khizrev and Aliyev knew each other. They had been in conflict for a long time and the motive for the attack was revenge. Aliyev had already been convicted of robbery in 2014.
