Sampled a bottle last night. I can honestly say it's the best whiskey I've ever had.

"Journalism is not a profession or a trade. It is a cheap catch-all for fuckoffs and misfits—a false doorway to the backside of life, a filthy piss-ridden little hole nailed off by the building inspector, but just deep enough for a wino to curl up from the sidewalk and masturbate like a chimp in a zoo-cage.” -HST

I don't see the issue with journalist reporting this. A Whiskey that Irish people will drink is truly news...

Do you think the same thing about MMA outlets posting regarding the song that Woodley just put out?

(This is a non-issue.)

Yup unless they are critiquing/reviewing it.
All of those guys just posted it to their personal social media accounts, and Brett Okamoto simply reported on it. What's the issue here? If Khabib were selling those Dagestani hats I bet these guys would be talking about that too. It doesn't imply bias in my opinion, and I think that's your gripe, right?

Agree
I have issues with journalism in 2018, but covering something that makes news about MMA's top star is normal.
I could see the one tweet that was from Mindenhall being slightly suspect, but the rest were just covering news

The first one is a bit much, but when the biggest fighter in the sport is putting out a product, they're going to cover it. There's nothing unethical about it, unless they're being paid by Conor.

The one reporter that did a commercial for it before asking Conor a Q was too much though

Yep fair enough just feels like more of an ad than a news story imo and Conor basically tweeted as much. Chuck's tweet was really the one that set me off combined with Josh Gross retweeting Caposa

I can see that, but that is Chuck's writing style. A lot of his stuff is tongue-in-cheek. Being familiar with his work, I don't feel like he was peddling.

Good news Chuck finally cleared this up despite being a smarmy cunt while doing it
