Moicano-Korean Zombie targeted for UFC Greenville

A pair of featherweights will look to get back on track next month.

Renato Moicano and Chan Sung Jung have verbally agreed to meet at UFC Greenville on June 22, Combate reported Wednesday night. Contracts are not yet signed, per the report. UFC officials have yet to announce the bout.

Moicano is coming off a second-round TKO loss to former featherweight champion Jose Aldo last February at UFC Fortaleza. The defeat snapped a two-fight winning streak for the Brazilian, which included a submission of Cub Swanson and a decision over Calvin Kattar. Moicano, who also holds a notable win over Jeremy Stephens in 2017, is 3-2 in his last five bouts.

Jung most recently fell to Yair Rodriguez via a last-second knockout last November…

Fantastic fight but it's going to be a hell of a road back for the loser.

I still think Moicano can be champ. When Aldo went nuts there wasn't anybody at 145 alive not named Max Holloway that could've done anything about it.

But Zombie is a bad matchup for him. I think Moicano will win but there's no area he can dominate Zombie in.
