Funny how they gained massive popularity by illegally hosting copyright material (when they were cool and "public") and after they established total market supremacy by using "stolen goods" they have a complete corporate monopoly crushing all in their path

The "red state" backlash is gonna be MASSIVE

"social media" could be the "polarization platform" that brings down the USA since a for-profit agenda will always push broadcasting to the extremes while sleepy middle of the road just the facts type programming won't have the kind of advertising support and will likely wither away on the vine

just like fake wrestling is more popular than Olympic wrestling so to shall "fake news" be more popular than actual "just the facts" reporting that avoids propaganda since its devoid of advertising pressure

The same people suing are regularly on record talking about how successful they've been already using that same social media. As such bias claims will be difficult. All the company has to show is violation of terms of service.

I'm not sure there's any merit to a portion of the claim either:

They argue that YouTube breached its own terms of service by terminating or suspending them without cause, failing to tell them the reason for termination or suspension and not giving them sufficient time to export their content from the platform.

I cannot imagine a court saying that an online company must act as a repository for your videos and give you sufficient time to download them. YOU UPLOADED THEM. You have the original copy. How can it be that you need time to download a downcoded reduced quality version??

It's pretty easy to understand what FB/Google/YouTube/et al want, they want regulations that only multi-billion dollar companies can afford to defend, and eventually they'll get the same 'qualified immunity' that other gov't entities receive regarding lawsuits.

"You can't sue City Hall", but the online version. It's a system to suppress speech or thought that is contrary to the interests of the Elite.
