Any weight class, includes interim champions. Only includes the number of champions they beat, not how many times.

Royce is counted as champion, because it would be frankly retarded not to count him as one - that's how a 'champ' was decided prior to the Superfight Belt being introduced. But other major tournament winners are not counted from either promotion, because a separate championship already existed.

Hendo - 9
Machida - 8
Fedor - 7
Big Nog - 7
GSP - 7
Randy - 7
Hughes - 7
Sakuraba - 6
Jones - 6
Reem - 6
Chuck - 6
Rashad Evans - 6

List any errors and who is missing with at least 6 wins.

What about Strikeforce, Bellator, Dream, WSOF/PFL, WEC, EliteXC
etc.?

Because I just focused on the two premier organisations in MMA history. Adding in Pride only adds a few extra champs in, making it easy.

I just updated old information and it took me about 7 minutes. Ain't nobody got time for what you are asking.

For reference, considering Nog was also interim UFC champ, adding in Pride only adds 4 champions - Vanderlei, Hendo, Fedor and Gomi. So if you want to work out just wins over UFC champions, subtract any wins over those guys.

Do these numbers indicate beating people who had already been champs or who were ever champs? Because right off the rip, Hendo only beat 6 actual former UFC or Pride champions.

You already know the answer to your question. Semantics are unnecessary - it’s already just a list of wins over champs with no insight into the quality of wins, so why bother distinguishing if they were pre or post championship? Could be a green kid or an elderly fatass at the time they fought. ‘Former’ = ever held the belt. Close enough.
