Welcome to this club. As you have stepped into the most interesting grappling sports so I would like to advise you that keep working on your strength and conditioning workouts. All grappling sports require strength to dominate the competition. You need to be a full-spectrum athlete. Building strength for BJJ is a great method to increase your performance on the mat as well as it can prevent you from harsh injuries.
